I used to love playing Unreal Tournament 2004 in Onslaught mode. I remember seeing many a sunrise in my Uni days!

There are some servers still up and running but its not what it used to be. As I'm totally out of touch with new PC games can any one suggest a game similar to Unreal Tournament 2004's Onslaught game?

Well there is unreal tournament 3 .... but that's just as bad player-wise I hear. Can be picked up cheap so worth a punt.

Otherwise try picking up the "orange box" quite a few games on there for a very cheap price, which should more than re-spark your intrest in gaming :)

Edit:

Lol same format, aswell!! and within the same second!

There's the obvious UT3, but it has a rather small community atm. The next "Titan" patch will hopefully resolve all the current issues, as well as providing a mountain of new content.

If you haven't actively played PC games for a few years, my first recommendation would be to get Valve's Orange Box - £25 for a collection of some of the best PC games released (imo).

*edit*

lol, the first two replies are pretty much identical :p

Quake Live? It doesn't have a similar game mode to U2004's Onslaught mode, but it is a similar type of game. It's in open beta stage atm, www.quakelive.com

Basically a remake of Quake3 that is free, funded by ads, and browser based.
