2, 4, 6 and 7 do absolutely nothing for me I'm afraid.

1 I like but would have liked for the insects head to have been in focus

The images overall are good but all lacking "punch" - like a lot of people would look at them and go "yeh they are nice" and carry on and not take a second glance. Do you know how I mean?

Theres no specific way to do this as its different with every image, but for the most part they look very flat, and bland in some cases.

Keep it up though, they aren't bad at all!

It's little things. Like 4 looks like it's been oversharpened to death!

7 I cant even tell what it is.

2 has been done 17 million times (give or take)

and 6 would have been better if the tress were a bit blurry.

All IMO ofcourse, I might be talking trallop :p

Some good pics but as Phate says 4 is very oversharpened. 7 is either a waterfall or something frosty. I dont agree that the trees in 6 would look better blurry, i think its fine the way it is, possibly oversharpened though? I also find the fence in pic 8 distracts from the whole picture, looks like it may be a tight crop to get rid of it though. Apart from that not too shabby :) Welcome back btw (i voted yes :p)

I rearly like number 8 with the sky colour. yes it would probably be better without the fence, although for me it does not distract from the rest. I like to see a landscape exactly how it is, fence or no fence.

I disagree with a lot of the stuff Phate says too, I really like 7, and the problem with no. 4 isn't to do with sharpening it's to do with resizing thin lines (I have the same problem with resizing startrails), sharpening doesn't make any difference.

Overall a very nice set, although I think No.8 is the weak one of the set, with the last three not being as good as the first few. 4, 6 and 7 are my favorites. :)

I don't like 2, 4 & 7. Also 3 does absolutely nothing for me, but I don't dislike it.

2 would be good if the subject was more interesting. A bunch of ripe and not ripe tomatoes to me is boring. If it was a bunch of red with one green or vise-versa then I'd like it a lot more.

4 is a nice idea but it's just not well implemented in my opinion. I like car light trails but that one is just too busy and too hard and there is no depth to the picture really, it's nice to see trails coming from round a corner or from way off in the distance.

7 is is just messy and I just can't like it, I think it's because it's too close a crop/zoom or something, I don't know.
