oh my gawd.

depends which track dude :p

cant find it atm but wheres that famous vid where the two '5s get ****ed by two '2s? think it was tsukuba or suzuka

They were modified though. There is a stock race and the DC5 beats the 2, though the EP3 wins.

I want an FD2 next, wouldn't say no to trying a DC5 though.

go JDM. Honestly my 13/14 year old is currently stripped out at the moment and there is nothing. nada.

RX is just the 98 spec with few fancy chrome/carbon bits, have the brochure kicking around if you want it.

id honestly avoid the UKDM unless you know these areas have been treated.

It's only the UKDMs that are affected, the JDMs don't have the rubber strip which was added by Honda to UKDMs to reduce the chance of rust; ironically it just increases the chances.

I don't know how much they will cost till the interior is stripped out and they can have a proper look at it. I expect £600 ish.

Rx's are expensive, for the price of one, you can get a newer DC5. However, if you're set on a DC2 and you want to spend that amount of money on an 11 year old car, then it's probably the best choice.

Thanks, I think the DC2 is the one for me and that I'm 22 and the man on the end of the phone laughed when i said i wanted to get a quote for a Dc5 :(

I thought you were selling yours fonzee?

I suppose that was one of the larger retareded insurers?

Need to go call the specialists.

I did they told me to **** off. :p Tried a-plan, noel dazely and chriss knott (who require me to be at least 30 )

Who are you with?

Brentacre @ £680 but I was 24, 7yrs no claims and garage.

Sorting it out again next week, now 25 quotes have come in around £580 with A-plan and £270 for a limited 5k 'future classic' policy :D:D:D

Also try Lifesure and Sky Insurance. With Sky, if your underwriter is Markerstudy, try for another one, I've had nothing but hassle from them.

lost most of their business on the honda forums now!

i was when it was winter/snowing/ice, it was tucked up in the garage, hadnt driven it for a couple of months and i started thinking stupid things.

i then took it out during a dry period and it all came rushing back. had to pull out of the sale in the end, luckily the buyer was a honda nut and understood.

Car dropped off at Kindg Coachworks in Sheerness yesterday for the arches. Can't wait to go and get it. I have also bought an ITG Maxogen CF intake.
