I have just finished building my PC flicked on the switch, all the fans powered up, Hard Drive, optcal Drive and GFX card fan, but i got the "No Signal" errorr on my monitor.

I have plugged everythign back in but still the same thign happens.

What should I try doing?

May I also point out that I had no beeps from the speaker. I thought i had put it on the wrong way around but then put it on a different way around and the aame thing happened, no beeps.

Can anyone help me? should i try rebuilding it?

Spec is:
E6300, Asrock CoreDual4 - VSTA, 2GB OCZ RAM, 6800GS AGPx8

Cheers guys

I really need some propper advice on hat to do here. I am going to try and reseat the processor, but would like some advuce because it means removing the mobo.

Thanks

I have searched the forum

I took everything out accept the motherboard could not get the heatsink off due to being stressed hot an sweaty. The motherboard came out.

Put everything back in again and still nothing, Whats happening?

Maybe my AGPx8 card wont work or is a too high voltage for the AGPx4 socket on the motherboard? I know that te AGPx8 card will run in the x4 socket.

Ill take the CPU out tomorrow morning and thn see what happens, going to London over easter so cnat really do much till i get back.

I can't test the CPU or MoBo out in a different PC as its a new build, my old PC is a p4 478 so thats a no no.

I did try a 9200 LE (LOL) in the AGPx8 slot instead of my 6800GS but there was no change.

Remind me never to build from new again, I had a load oftrouble with my last PC i built. But it only ever happens to my PC's built a few for ther people.

Cheers anyway I'll let yas know whats going on.

Just tried a PCI-E card and still the problem persists. I have done all the things you have suggested a few times. What are my options now RMA motherboard?

Okay ill have a mess with it when I get home. Seems im not having much luck with PC's this week, just had to fix my uncles in London lol.

I dont think its the PSU. Has anyone had any trouble with a Antec NSK case PSU before (thats whats in my rig). Its 430W so its powerful enough. Ill try my old 350W in it when I get back.

Is it worth building it out of the case to make sure that it isnt shortingEven though I have rebuilt the whole thing 3 times?
