So, I've been running the 11.1a drivers for a while with no issues at all. But then today randomly when I start a game its been just running at about 5fps, which I checked with FRAPS. Just run Afterburner and noticed that for some reason my card is just staying in 2d clocks and not clocking up... any idea why? It was fine before today, and nothing's been changed. Installed some windows updates a few days ago, but it was fine after then. And the problem seems random, restarting the game usually seems to fix it.

Running a 5770 at stock speeds, 11.1a hotfix drivers.

Edit: Did some more research into it by actually starting a game and not sitting on the main menu. The GPU did clock up to 850 as it should but the game still played at a solid 5fps, though GPU usage did peak to 31% for a few seconds.

I've had this happen in both Civ 4 and Bloody Good Time, though both were on Steam. Nothing in the background that should be stopping it, as far as I know, either. Disabled the Steam Overlay and it still happened.

Also just started up WoW which doesn't run through Steam. 5fps on the login screen, and the GPU isn't clocking up either. I'm going to try restarting.
