My computer has started to ignor the fact that there is an Audigy 4 in my PCI slot. I've tried changing which slot its in, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. i can't install newest drivers from Creative because it can't detect the card. Could this be a problem with the motherboard or is it likely to be a software problem? The system doesn't recognise it when it boots either. Could disabling onboard sound make a difference (worked fine until a few days ago with onboard enabled).

Okay managed to fix it but not to my liking. I unistalled all AC97 and audigy drivers restarted and it detected to card so i installed *** new drivers and now its working...but, i dont have the little program in the toolbar no more to ajust the sound settings etc i have to used control pannel which doesnt have the EAX etc. Where can i get this? btw thanks for the help much apriciated (sp?).

If you go to the website and download the complete driver package, install that (choose modify/repair) and you should be able to add the EAX control panel and stuff.
