Hi all

Just gone into settings on my PC, Everything is correct i.e CPU, RAM and SSD etc, But it doesn't show me the Hard Drive on there, Ive plugged the Data and Power cables in but still nothing...

This may not be the issue but as I'm sat here now I remember I have one of the power cables from my PSU going to the SSD and one of the other power cables connected to the Hard Drive, These power cables are 3 attached to the same lead on PSU, could that be the issue

Cheers

Have you gone into Disk Management.

If not you need to right click on the drive an assign a new volume for it to show in Windows

Does the drive have a drive letter assigned to it? Right click the new volume and go to drive letters and paths

It has: New Volume (D:)

When right clicked it doesn't say drive letters and paths

On settings/New Volume/Sharing it says Network path: Not shared

Having issues still guys, Boot up my PC and wait a few minutes for it to load up...

It says Updating Steam then stays on the home screen,

I then Right click on the steam icon and click open..... Nothing..

I then try the ETS2 icon, Right click, Open... Nothing..

Nothing pops up on screen, WiFi is connected and full bar signal.. What could this be as its beginning to annoy me... All I want to do is game :( Ive done the above (New Volume) for HDD...

Shall I just restore the complete computer and swap the HDD for SSD storage for games

Hi all

So ive built another build and having this issue again... But this time ive done a disk management search and swapped sata cables but the PC is only finding my M.2

What shall i do?

All sorted now, i went on disk mamagement and realised the Disk 1 section had a exclamation mark on it so i right clicked and set a new volume

:)
