Hi, ive recieved the message twice now whilst playing wow...I find it hard to believe my PC is struggling to run it. Never had this issue with my old computer. Any idea why I keep recieving this message? is it false? am I ok to just ignore it (ive checked my memory usage and its never been above 30%-50%)? Spec:

Overclocked Intel® Core™i5-2500k Quad Core 4.60GHz
ASUS® P8P67 PRO
8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz
Geforce 480GTX SE
OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB
2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK
CORSAIR 850W TX SERIES

Cheers!

Have you run the Windows Experience Index?

I think you need to do this so Windows can "learn" what your system is.

What he said.

Also, Windows very aggressively caches into RAM, so if you're capping out at 50%, that means that the largest amount of RAM it can actually find a use for at the moment is 4GB. You're definitely not out of memory.

Maybe update graphics drivers and install latest Windows updates?

You have got 64bit Windows haven't you? Just checking because if not windows would not be able to use 8GB

its vram, not ram that its caring about. I got it on my old rig while playing certain games, just told it to never tell me again, if you tell it to turn it off while gaming, it simply means it will free up a little bit of vram (lots if you have loads of firefox windows open etc) but largely it doesnt matter.

I get something similar if I alt tab out of DA2 or leave it paused too long so the screensaver kicks in. Informs me that my computer is running slow and I should turn off windows aero to speed things up.

I ignore it...

I have windows 64 bit and just ran the windows exPerience. I told it not to tell me again as it's quite obvious my pc is more than capable. Thx guys
