I've been running 2 VM's fine for the last few months (except for when my cooling broke) and everything has been fine.

I got up this morning to find that one of my VMs had shut down.

On trying to start it, I now get a message that the machine cannot be started due to a lack of physical memory...

Both VMs are running 1Gb of memory each.

Anybody know what might have changed to cause this error to occur?

Task Manager is showing 1.4Gb available Physical Memory.

I'm running XP (not x64) with 4Gb onboard.

Cheers

Thanks for the prompt Cob. The host was set to 2Gb with no swap. I've upped the memory a bit and enabled some swapping and the second VM booted straight up.

Thanks for the help
