Not full screen with HDMI connection...

Hi all,

I have a Radeon 5870 graphics card in a Win 7 64 bit system with an Acer H243H monitor. When I use an HDMI to HDMI connection the desktop no longer fills the screen, ie I get a black border, when I use HDMI to DVI the desktop fills the screen. Resolution is set to 1920*1080. Any thoughts......

Nothing to do with it.

It's HDMI scaling, in the drivers somewhere but quite well hidden. I would post a screen shot but I'm not at home.

Change it from 15% to 0% if you do find it.

It won't go any higher. If I lower it, the black border size stays the same too

No problem, I had that exact issue with my 5870 over HDMI
