Hey,

Just wanted to say hello as i've not posted in years..

been away from pc gaming for a few years since having kids... and actually.. not sure if others agree... but have enjoyed a few years away from tech as much as possible..

I left my IT job 2 years ago to home educate my kids, and while spending more time out of an office.... and more in the countryside/woods ive become far more attached to the old ways of our ancestors.

I live in Devon if anyone else does? Looking to upgrade my 1080 to some sort of second hand gfx card.. I have seen CEX will give me £100 for my 1080 if I trade it in for something else.. anyone had a good/bad experiences ?

the only gaming I've really done over the last years is GT7 on the playstation and attila on the pc.. not really found the modern total wars anywhere near as good/detailed

Main reason I'm looking to upgrade is the new skylines I had pre ordered on the ps5 but have been refunded...

I suspect the overlap in the Ven diagram between:-

People who ever visit the 'New Members' section of OCUK

And

People who prefer to be in nature and would welcome a break from tech

Is fairly narrow. General discussion you might find more luck, and possibly some fairly strong disagreement.

Great that you're at home with the kids all the time. That sounds amazing. I really envy your bravery there, walking away from the job.

CeX I've had mixed experiences.

If looking for an upgrade this forum is very good for advice in the Hardware subforums. The ones nearer the top of the list tend to be way more active.
