Not played crysis yet

But I was wondering if somebody could suggest a few settings so as to enable me to get the most out of it with this kind of system spec:
Vista 64, 4 gig of ram,q6600 and rev 2 8800gt. Thank you

Dual boot XP, Vista performance is a fair bit worse than XP.

Everything set to Very High depending on res using this: http://www.k-formula.com/crysis/crysis_ultra_high.zip

Expect to see 20-50 fps at 1680x1050 which seems really quite smooth in Crysis.

Just try high as possible and then lower settings if the performance is bad surely...

I'm sure the Crysis will soon be on par with XP as it gets patched.

hmmm, when you say dual boot xp, does that mean you have two hdd's and you select the one with xp on it as the main boot up drive, or does vista come with xp boot up selection?

I've just gone dual boot a few days ago, if you install vista when xp is already installed when you boot up you get the option of vista or xp.

Just ran the GPU bench on my 8800GT and got 25fps average and 20fps min (keep in mind it's all outside and I have a slower CPU).

That was at the settings I listed (XP very high, 1680x1050)
