Not powering on please help

Hi I built my pc in 2017. A few days ago it shut off on its own. Would not power on.

I then changed the fuse in the plug and it went to the windows screen and shut off.

Would not power on.

Changed the power lead and the motherboard lights come on but the computer does not power up.

Any advice on where to start?

Power supply is an evga 850g(s) the 1st gen. Out of warranty.

Mobo x370 tai chi CPU 5600 I think x Gigabyte 3070
 
May sound silly but have you tried a different plug socket and not plugged in to an extension lead? so directly in to the wall socket.

How old is the PSU?

I would try and remove the coms battery, disconnect the power cable from the PC and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Once done wait 30 mins and then put the battery back in, connect the power cable then give it another try.

If your CPU had a IGPU I would have suggested removing the 3070 and giving that a try but the 5600 does not have 1.

Do you have a spare PSU, gpu or any spare PC parts available to test at all?
