i just moved out of halls into a house with a mate and 1 other , the other set up Biscit 8mb not so long ago and got a router from ******s of the "addon" brand , yes ive never herd of them as well and it was 80 quid , browsing and and downloading files its great at but when i start up wow on the wireless it was about 600ms degrading to about 800ms updated the wireless drivers and that brung it down to about 200ms to start off with i though great that do but again the pings degraded to about 450ms to 500ms over a small time , got a 10m lenth og networkcable , again starts off about 150ms to 200ms then degreades to about 450 500 again , tryed an DMZ tryed swiching off the firewall and letting eveything though and still the same , do u think its the nobrand router which sucks would a NETGEAR DG834 do a better job , back home on a 2mb line and a 2year old belkn router (one of the 1st G models) i get about 80ms ,

Any ideas soory about the long post
