Me and my wife are expecting our first child. Unfortunately our baby reduced his patterns of movement yesterday, alarm bells rang and I took her to hospital. They did a scan and said sorry that our baby didn't have a heart beat.

They've induced labour and we are waiting for it to start and for the baby to be born. I know our baby is going to be born still at birth but I'm still hoping a miracle happens and somehow our baby wakes up. Not sure how I'm feeling, I'm still in shock but I would like everyone to pray for us maybe a miracle will happen.

Forgot to mention she's at full term for the birth.

Devastating news. You and your wife must be distraught.

Remember you still have each other and however painful it is, there is always hope for another chance.

ah man that is such bad news. i have no words.
i hope you both pull through it ok.

my wife lost 2 and we have 3 children, just saying don't give up.

Stuff like this scares me endlessly. Just found out my wife is expecting our next.

Deepest sympathies. I can only imagine how it must feel.

so sorry to hear this matey,

if the worst is realised, then make sure you spend time with the baby, get as many photos as possible, to remember him/her by.

life can swing some severe swerve balls, but I have came to realise things always get better,

be strong for the wife.

Awful news mate :(

I've not experienced such a tragedy, we were fortunate with both ours, but a piece of advice I've heard is to make sure to take some pics, nice ones, of you both and your baby - you won't regret it.

Look after your Wife, and yourself, buddy.

That's awful OP, thoughts are with you. Can't imagine what you're going through right now, as above remain in the best state of mind that you're able to, to support your wife.
