It take the pc off the desk and leaves so much room for cable management underneath!

I even have my router under there!

Basically this raises my PC up off my desk and allows me to move it closer to the wall because it is not being interfered by either the plugs or the electrical conduit running along the back of the desk

Ikea KVISSLE?

Looks perfect ! might be a bit stronger that the current setup as well...

The only thing might be that at the moment the 'stand' I have built leans back over the electrical conduit running along the back of my desk. I am sure there are a lot of people (students) in my position when the desk is thin and the conduit running along the back is super annoying!

would be nice to see something similar to the KVISSLE that could be height adjusted to allow it to be inline with the plugs (unless they are all a standard height).

Looks like a home for rats in the making. One of my mates did a similar thing until his sons hamster went missing and took out his ethernet cable.
