Not sure if i can get another monitor

As ill have some money ill be able to get another monitor the problem is that i have crossfire 6850's and a friend told me that with 2 cards you can only run either 1 or 3 monitors or with 1 card 1-2-3 monitors, is he correct and is there a work around for this?

Im running a monitor of a DVI Atm but if i was to get another then what connections would it need? My 6850's have 2 DVI Ports

load of twaddle. can run 1, 2 or 3 with either single or xfire

cheers dude, if i got another one what connections would it be e.g. dvi , hdmi, vga?

What ever you want doesn't make any difference, use any connection (just use another DVI to keep things nice and simple

)

I use display port. But dvi is best bet if you don't have display port
