Not sure if i've mounted the heat sink properly

At the min it looks like this.

blue outline is the cpu, and the black is the Freezer Pro copper heatsink.

Temps at the min are
core 1/2/3 at 20degrees and CPU at 32degrees

Should i be worrying about the gap at the top? Its the highest i could manage to get the heatsink.

na its a graph showing that a wee bit of the top of cpu is not coverd by the heatsink.... i have no experience with those heatsinks sorry pal although your temps look fine...

[edit] what are your temps on load?
 
That 12 degree difference seems a tad odd to me too.
Id try running the system with a different cooler (spare or stock) to get some ideas of temps and then compare to temps with the Freezer Pro.
 
So the 3 cores being 12degrees less than the cpu is a bad thing? should the cpu be near enough the same degrees as the cores? during a quick 3 hour prime95 stress test, the cpu never went above 43degrees, and the cores were at about 31degrees
