Hi guys,

Just noticed I am getting random words on the internet coming up as hyperlinks, advertising stuff when I hover over them. My first thought was spyware, so I ran Malwarebytes and it found nothing. Then ran a virus scan, and again, nothing.

Not really sure where to go from here? Don't really want to do a fresh install.....

any plugins installed for your browser? I'd be looking at them and removing any that I wasn't 100% sure about.

May be the website that's doing it, I know the forums on OCUK do it for certain keywords.

Haven't added any plugins recently, and it's every website mate.

Check the browser addons/extensions and remove any you don't need.

The open command prompt and run ipconfig /flushdns this should flush your dns cache and may fix the issue. Also run an antivirus program on it. (Such as MSE or Avast for example, not AVG though...)

Have any of the plugins you have installed been updated recently as some have started to include advertising elements.
