As someone who has just started out on the adventure of digital photography would I be correct in thinking that I don;t need to go straight into using a full on version of photoshop for editing my photos ?
I have previously used Paintshop pro 8 (still have it), but I am not sure if this will be good enough or if I should go out and get a copy of photoshop elements and learn how to use that.
Obviously there is a massive price difference between photoshop (full/pro edition) and elements. I was also considering getting a newer version of paintshop pro instead. There is one called paintshop Photo X2 which is also pretty cheap compared to a full out version of photoshop.
The camera I am using is a fuji s6500fd if that helps with any advice you guys may have to offer.
