Im having a think about what to do about my a6000. Ever since I bought my a7r2, it has been pretty much unused. I take my a7r2 out and about, but generally only when Im going out to take photo's, it doesn't do the daily commute or a walkabout as it cost me too much and if I lost my bag...
Obviously anything I buy has that risk, but a walkaround camera and a couple of lenses wouldn't be worth 50% of the value I could carry sometimes.
Im thinking of maybe upgrading my a6000 and committing to using that as my walkaround camera, I have a fair few FF lenses, but no zoom that would work really on a day to day basis, the 24-105 which I love is too big and won't fit into the setup Im looking for.
I was looking at the 6100 mainly for the much better AF and the connectivity for the imaging edge app, but I would also need to get a better zoom then the kit lens and unless I go for the 16-55 F2.8, all the zooms strike me as a bit meh for the money... Also the 6100 has the same low res EVF of the a6000 which was one of the reasons why I moved to the a7r2 as it was terrible for shooting at night.
Im going to have a read of the Fuju thread to see how they compare for features, but not knowing anything about them really, what models should I be looking at as there are so many? Im looking at more the lower end of the range as I have my a7r2 for serious stuff
I would want decent EVF resolution
Manual controls that are nice to use as I would be adapting old manual primes
Decent AF, maybe not up to Sony new AF standards, but better than the a6000
Obviously great output
Easy to get photos from camera to phone
A couple of decent zoom recommendations..
I absolutely don't care about video, I have never used video on any camera ever so the most basic spec will do
Im still leaning to the 6100 as I can use batteries and the mount adapters I already have, but it never hurts to look at the competition once in a while...
edit
Having a very quick look at prices, the Xpro-2 and T30 look around the right price (700-850) will have a look at their feature set - like I said I really haven't been following them other than to know they have a following who rate them.
