Not sure where to put this but.. Decent haven score?

I have NEVER ran or heard of this benchmark untill today, I dunno whats a high score or whats a low score, so if it IS a good score, please don't think im bragging because I really don't know. I just want to see what my new machine can do : ) Thanks guys.

My specs are - CPU: Intel Core i7 980X 4.00GHz

No, it's a really crappy score. Those i7 980X's coupled with Nvidias top card the 580... pfft, rubbish.

No one has a system like that and then asks if it's any good lol. Of course it is.

I think its just a cause of paranoia, just seeing if my system is running the way it should be, a lot of money went into it :eek:

I can imagine. Loadssss of money.

This might not please you though. Here's my score on 3-4 year old hardware... only thing new is the graphics card. (GPU was £150 cheaper)

Its on much lower settings though mate I think you just used a slightly higher rez then me.

Notice that OP ran tessalation at "Extreme" Levels.

Set them to "Normal" and run the test again. That is your true score.

Edit: Also he ramped up the AA to 8x which would again lower his score.

Exactly lol. I never noticed you upped the settings from standard, pic was blurry. Wishful thinking on my part haha. I don't think you need your ego massaged lol, there is an official thread for these scores if you want to post.

^ this was all I wanted to know, just where I could post it to see how my score was compared to others with similler systems. Im sorry if you think it was because I wanted to stretch my 'epeen'. I simply had no idea about this benchmark untill yesterday and had nothing to compare it to.

But thanks for letting me know everythings ok : )
