Is Freesync important in my decision?

Should i consider going up to £300 for a 4k?

I have a Radeon 390 8GB, AMD 8 Core 4.0ghz(will get a cooler to OC it at a later date) and I play a lot of Total War games, I'm temporarily on a Dell 21.5" (Dell ST2220M). I used to be on a BenQ 24"

Another vote to Freesync (and Gsync). Is superb technology and the monitor is an investment.
