Seems to be doing OK ...

Still trying to dial in the 7960. Doing per core overclocking now and easing down the voltages slowly.

Also doing some temps benchmarks so I can compare before and after delid....

Bit difficult to say really as I didn't have a comparative benchmark on my 5960. Subjectively it does seem a lot faster, assuming you pick the right codec.

The cores tend to get hit when I do 264 or 265 encoding in 10bit
