Hey guys it’s been a very long time since I have built a computer and am not sure what i need to get the computer I want.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some help.

I am looking to spend around £1200 I don’t have anything like a keyboard and a mouse I do on the other hand have a 32 inch Samsung hdtv suppose I could use this for a monitor or would I be best off buying a 22inch for the computer am really not sure a lot of you guys have got the experience that I don’t anymore.

I basically want a powerful but quite gaming pc that can be used for internet wirelessly and downloading.

So any help would be very much appreciated.

i brought the ultima vortex GX2 off OcUK, which has a nVidia 9800 GX2 1024mb, with a HDMI output, which would plug into your TV, the full spec is here

served me very well so far, i had it in the CoolerMaster Cosmos Sport case, and would leave you about 100-200 quid, depending on case choice, for mouse and keyboard :)

cheers mate i do struggle sometimes not my fault tho :(

but yeah so does anyone else have any sugestions about a new set up for me i dont really like the idea of buying a pre built pc as it gives me something to do in my spare time :)
 
If you want silence or as near as you can get you might be best going for watercooling.

Something along the lines of
e8500
asus p5q-e mobo
4gb 1066 ram.(800 should do if your not overclocking)
Ati 4850/4870 graphics card
crosair 520 psu.
