Hi all,

(Hope this is ok to be discussed if i don't mention a competitor directly?)

I placed an order recently for a 26" Samsung LCD TV with a company who offer a 20% discoun t for a first purchase, but this has subsequently failed after they decided they would no longer offer this discount on certain items.

So I found it for a bit more at a web retailer that rhymes with 'clay'. But someone has mentioned to me that they were told a while back in a store that TV sets from this particular retailer are not of UK spec?

Does anyone know if this is total rubbish, or does it not even matter anyway?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thanks

They were meant for the French market but it's a moot point since nowadays TV's have universal tuners and connections.

Only difference would be the power but then that's just a case of a different lead (as opposed to voltage) my Samsung TV (not one of the ones you're referring to) contained UK and Euro plugs. The retailer would throw one in for free if there wasn't one in the box already.
