Not your average hosting question

I've been struggleing to find a suitable host for my dev projects, most hosts offer these control panels and what not now that allow easy site management and statistics etc. I need a host that doesn't offer this! My uni internet connection is port 80 only so I need a standard old school host - if anyone has an idea?!

That's an interesting one...I just tested www.browsingatwork.com with http://www.twobeds.com/cpanel and it works, though it's slow

Edit: Aha, a little birdy showed me this site: http://www.cpanelproxy.net - looks useful

yup,

I use justahost.net with cpanelproxy installed, full functionality through port 80

Technically it wasn't me, I only posted it - daresay you'll find out who actually did tell me in a few days though

Dreamhost's control panel is port 80
