Only had my Note 4 best part of a month and already I seen loads of scratches to the polished edges on the Note 4, even though it been in a case since it came out of the box being a Spigen Neo Hybrid.

I'm proper OCD about the condition of my phones, any marks really bugs me & wasn't putting up with this, so my solution to this problem is get a green to it a new one that is and strip it's edges of it shine.

What it done is took away all those fine scratches, brought back to the raw Aluminium look ie darker less shine it also now looks better as it matches more with the grey coating plus is now more resistant to further scratches.

I've seen other people use sandpaper around 1500 to 2000 grit or car & metal polish while all work great put greater risk on scratching the phone, with just a standard kitchen green it worked a treat and hasn't scratched any part of the phone other than take away the polish look off the edges.

indeed. quite why this brand has become so trendy and popular is a mystery... a lot of people complain about the same thing yet they keep on selling them..

I've got Spigen on my Nexus 6 and G4. No scratches in sight. Guess it depends on the case model and phone.

The fit and finish on the Spigen case are superb from my experience, and the holes are cut out with impressive precision and quality.

It's the rubber lip that sits over the edge that causing the scratches as it has a kinda sharp feel to it on the Note 4's Spigen cases and with the polished aluminium being very soft on the Note 4 & the case being a really tight fit it causes it to scratch as you take it off.

I've had Spigen cases in the past for nearly every phone I've had & until now never suffered any scratches, even the iPhone 5S with it's chamfered edges i had never suffered from this problem.

I think that why Samsung went with a different design for the S6, and didn't follow the Note 4 design.

Eitherway I've sorted the problem & i think it now looks better plus just taken my phone out of the case and no scratching on the edges. :)
