Hallo Guys, this is my last Post before order my laptop tomorrow.

Im thinking to buy OcUK Hardcore Gamer P157SM
or the OcUK Hardcore Gamer P170SM 17.3".

i think 17.3 its gonna be to big. but i prefer 15.6 " laptop but iF THE P170 SM with gt770 is better that 8970 ati i would go for p170. any suggestions or anyother notebook to suggest for this budget???? I will place the order tomorrow. THANKS!!

770 its not better then 8970 :)
If you go small (15.6) always could hook up to a bigger screen. If portability not so desirable go for 17"

Just an upgrade! i got the p 177 sm (256 ssd 500 gb hybrid, 8970 Ati, intel haswell 4700mq, 8 gb ram) im really happy!! :D thanks overclockers.

Should receive mine today, 4700mq, 17" and 780m. To say i'm a bit excited is a understatement ha

Will run it now for you.

This thing runs everything I throw at it, even BF3 at 1080 on high settings and it's still smooth and fluid. Even Arma3 Beta runs well.

Very impressed. Although I don't game that much anymore this thing is ideal for me.

I paid for the full edition a while back but it doesn't matter, the results should still reflect system performance.

Have been playing around with overclocking the 780m and it seems to vary quite a bit. Upping the core +130 and memory +50 I get this - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/1073419? - but then upping the memory further the score goes down to 18252?!

I've settled on +100 core and +100 memory for the time being and it shows a decent improvement on Fire Strike - http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/1073481?

Temps are very stable too, CPU doesn't go above 77 degrees and GPU hits a maximum of 67 degrees.

Hopefully they will release a custom bios at some point allowing you to overclock the CPU too as they do with other models.
