Nothing coming up on screen

My mates parents have given me their PC to fix.

Nothing at all comes up on the screen. I've swapped the ram.... Then gpu and hard drive. But still nothing comes up. I've changed monitors too just in case and all the video cables.

To me this says it's likely the motherboard. It's not making any beeps when I turn it on.

Any guesses?

Yeah had this a few times. If no beeps and Your not posting or getting as far as the bios., after you tested gfx etc, its most likely the mobo. If it was the cpu or anything else you tend to get some indication.

Is it possible the the display is defaulting to I-gpu instead of the graphics card? maybe a bios reset may help?

There is no interested gpu. I have a feeling it's the motherboard.

Yep, if you've tried everything but the motherboard, then motherboard it must be. Always a pain when its a motherboard problem, good luck.
