Nothing in my ears please

Hello,

So I've developed an issue, for some reason I can no longer wear earbuds or ear plugs in my lugs, they get irritated.

So I've been tearing my hair out trying to decide between the type of earbuds that sit in the outer ear but they might still annoy and can fall out easily and are risky if they fit securely or not and over ear headphones but they can get sweaty and uncomfortable when it's warm.

So, has anyone found some wireless headphones for music and podcasts that can sit in the outer ear comfortably and securely and don't irritate sensitive flower ears like mine or over ears that are lightweight and don't get sweaty?

I know I'm asking a lot. I don't want to spend a massive amount either, under £60 would be nice.

Also what's a good source for podcasts that's easy to find content you're interested in?

Thanks

Maybe consider some Shokz? They sit on the side of your cheekbones so no ear contact at all. They are designed for running but I've tried them just to listen to music and they ain't half bad.

I've never particularly got on with silicon earbuds myself, so opted for an Airpod style fit.
I do very much rate SoundPEATS, I've owned the TrueAir2s and the Air3s. The Air3s are supposedly an improvement, but I personally had issues with music pausing, I assume from the on-ear detection while listening, hopefully it has been sorted now.

I can't personally vouch for them, but there is an Air3 deluxe model, which seems to be the most premium of the lot, which does still come under the £60 threshold.

They certainly have never irritated me, much like in-ear earbuds, the quality of the audio and the built in mic for calls is great, although since it's not a tight-tight fit, you can get some external noise leaking through. Never had any issues with them falling out myself.

Randomly I was I a bar yesterday and a guy had these on and let me have a go, they were good but not good enough sound quality for music for me unfortunately

I think airpod style is where I'm going to go, I'll have a look at these

Cheers

I got some Anker Q20 for £30 and they are much better than they should be for that price, they are over the ears

I am reviewing the creative outlier free pro+ bone conduction headphone this week, never had one before and it sit outside of the ears.

I've still not bought anything, I think I'm going to go with the Anker soundcore q45 for at home and some airpod style buds for travelling but might just get the buds first because they might be all I need

Bone conduction headphones are pretty good and have the benefit of not obscuring sound from the outside world. Seems this would be a good shout.

This had a pair of aftershokz and wore then daily for a long time, til they fell apart.

just got myself a new pair of Openruns, and whilst they aint gonna win any awards for sound quality they are superb.

Deffo give them a try if you've not before

I have tried them, not for me I'm no audiophile but the sound quality just isn't good enough.

I ended up with Soundpeats Air4. Just the right balance of in ear but not fully and sound quality, quite pleased with them they are very comfortable compared to previous.

Those will be my out and abouts, I'll get the soundcore q45 for home use
