Hi,
Can anyone help me out with this problem, I built my system about 4 months ago and all has been fine.
Its got 8 gig ram, q6600, and its a asus p5q I think, but I can get actually spec if its needed for the problem.
All was fine yesterday and went to shut down. I hit Sleep by mistake. (running ulimate 64 bit version of vista)
The screens went off but the pc fans kept going. I then couldn't get the thing back on so held in the power button to shut it off.
Today I go back to the pc, and when I turn it on, the screens don't come on, the power comes on, no post beeps, the only things is mobo lights cdrom, graphics cards fans and cdpu fan. I took off my bluetooth keyboard and used a usb, which I found did not light up so I'm guessign no usb power.
After searching google i found some similar problems but they were getting windows booting then sleeping instantly, I don't even get bios screen.
As you may think, it seems the pc is still a sleep, I took it all apart and put it all back together but same problem.
Anyone know a fix, is the motherboard the problem?
thanks
John
