computer build one:

not the best of pics and had to screenshot the odd ones from my gum advert as i was originally selling it, but i got the case for £5 as from you can tell, it needs work which is fine, good way and cheap enough case mess around with custom paint jobs, unless i havent done something then the screen part doesnt work which isnt a bad thing, i purchased it for it being a cube.

the layout is good, but also annoying, specifically the hard drive cage, it dips down slightly in a gap below meaning the drives can only face one way which is just about manageable with a fully modular psu and because i have had to feed couple of the cables through the cage, if i want a 2nd drive i will need to get a 5.25 adaptor if using another mech drive, but theres plenty of space for custom mounting, also has some good cooling options , the case is also interesting how to opens up like a sandwich, could maybe do a custom built in a wooden box or table should i wish to. its old hardware, but i plan to make this my more gaming capable and storage option.

whats in it currently is:

Asus P8H61-MX 1155
Pentium G2020
Stock cooler
500gb hdd
evga supernova gs 550w gold fully modular

i did have 8gb kit of xms3 ram, but i think ram was an issue with my itx system, so its in that currently as that is to replace lenovo as my main system, so my focus is on that one, but unlike the ix, this system supports 16gb so likely aim for that. i had my GT610 in it, but again despite my itx has hdmi, i have fitted the nvidia for now.

using IMGUR, so as its first time using them, do bare with me.

now on to my itx system which i purchased over the weekend. paid £20 for it because it was a part complete system that had start up/shutdown issues which ive hopefully corrected with better ram.

didnt quite realise how small it was as i figured i could maybe replace both my other systems, but as it only supports SFX power supplies and single slot graphic cards then thats not really an option and so despite it being the oldest of the 3 systems(got a q6600 system, but not doing anything with it now), because it offers more options in upgrading, i am going to replace my lenovo with it as cracking as that system is and is original, not much i can do with it and while they still seem to be worth a fair amount, its worth selling and funding my other systems, dont particularly want a computer on my desk which is where the lenovo is, not taking up space, just dont want it there and might shrink my desk, this is on the basis i keep the intel itx board running otherwise ill put my AM1 board in and store it till i source parts.

as you can see, my GT 610 wont be able to stay if i ever want to put the case cover on lol.

whats inside currently:

Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 1156
intel i3 540
stock cooler
currently the 8gb kit of xms3 ram
optical drive
300w FSP 80 plus bronze psu(replaced a crappy 300w Cit that was originally in it)

if it stays working, i will buy a low profile Akasa K25 i think it is, cooler for better performance and likely get an i5 or i7 at some point and i will be getting either a 1030 or some older dx11 card that will fit, the board only supports 8gb so its maxed at that now and with only a single drive option ill either get a 500gb-1tb or look for a 240gb ssd, psu will stay the same as its less hassle hunting and it works, will need a case fan though.
