Noticeable differences between these two ram sets?

I'm currently looking at triple channel ram, and decided one these kits:

and

For the price difference between both, would i see a greater performance from the corsair due to the pricing? Or are they considered to be relatively the same?

Also which would OcUK pick?

I use the memory below:

I run the above with my i7 overclocked to 4 ghz and memory speed at 1600mhz.

But you need to check what cooler you are using as this may interfere with the heatsink on the ram.

Is there an easy way to tell roughly how much room you'd have between a cooler and the ram sticks?

If i were to be using a asus rampage III?

I would suggest going for this cooler instead.

As for the Rampage III extreme - may I ask why are you going for this board? Since you are air cooling, this board would make a lot more sense TBH (@4GHz the performance will be basically the same as the Rampage III).

Interesting, nice call. I've outted the mobo and the cooler in exchange for the 2 you listed, i hadn't even considered the mobo you suggested before now
