mates getting a fan-mohawk he wants it done at a decent place not just a barbers any suggestions on hairdressers around notts for him to go to ?

Get a mate to do it for him. Prefrabley a Punk Rocker. They are pretty easy to do.

A proper foot high sort of mohawk? If so as far as I can tell all you really need to do is to shave the sides of your head leaving a strip of about 4-6" where the hair is completely uncut - then spike it up, sugar water is quite good for it I believe based on what one of my mates with a mohawk says or sometimes he uses industrial quantities of hairspray.

Wood glue, stick it up, shave the sides, profit.

If he gets it done at a "hairdresser" he needs shooting for letting Punk down.

Ive got a mohawk about a foot tall...just get the gf's sister to shave the sides for me...simples

And i use got2b gel + Hairspray and that seems to keep it up...sometimes have to borrow the gf's hair straighteners first though ><
