Nova-t-500 PCI Problems

Hi, iv just purchased this card and have it working with Media portal, I have a few problems with it at the moment though:

1) When PC comes out of hibernation, no signal is being recieved by the card thus if a scheduled recording has been programmed, it will not work.

2) I cant seem to get the 2nd tuner to work, I can record one channel but if I go to view another one, I simply get "Tuners are busy". In the card config and media portal config I can see both tuners listed.

Card has the latest drivers installed and im using XP SP3.

try using this app, to see if your second tuner is working ok (some are faulty)

Standby has always been a problem, its more likely to do with your motherboard, rather than the card.

The motherboard i have is a brand new one...

Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H with the 780G chipset.

I just built a media pc using the same board and a leadteak tuner card and have exact same problem. solution? s1 standby.

Standby has always been a problem, its more likely to do with your motherboard, rather than the card.

Just been on google for abit, it does seem like its a common problem with the TV card RE waking up from hibernation, does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Iv run the app, both tuners are recieving signals as they should be, being again in media portal, record one channel and when i goto view another i get the message "tuners are busy"
