So I just got my i5 2500k & Asus P8P67 board.

I went into the BIOS and set the turbo mulitplier to 40 and my RAM to 1600 Mhz and the BCLK to 100. Booted up then I opened Cpu Z and the Asus utility, but both programs are showing different results

On Cpu Z the CPU is maxing out at 3.3Ghz , but in the Asus suite is says 4000Ghz.

Also in the Asus utility the CPU voltate is 2.4v isn't that way too high?

Howcome the programs are showing me a different CPU speed? Have I done something wrong?

I just want the turbo to be overclocked to 4Ghz for now.

Hi mate the max recommended vcore is 1.38 & you want the newer version of cpuz, you can download the sandybridge reviewer kit from the cpuid site this contains cpuz, hwmonitor & tmonitor

Now it's saying both of my chassis fans are disabled, when I enable them they just don't turn on for some reason. The CPU fan isn't on either.
