I have another novice question, anyone built a pc based on an Asus motherboard? What comes on the usb stick included with the motherboard (X670E Hero)? I read somewhere drivers and utility....?

Am I suppose to install this after installing windows on the pc? or is it just a copy of the bios on usb stick included?

I was hoping to update the bios myself with the latest version from the website....

Please advise what do I need to do with the usb stick? :P

Just plug it in and look at it? :D You'll soon find out. Says drivers and utility in the manual, so it's probably just a copy of what was available on their website when the board was manufactured, which can be helpful if you can't get on the Internet without the drivers (e.g. if you're using Windows 10, which may not have the drivers needed bundled with it).

I download the newest drivers direct form AMD and others for NIC/WIFI on a USB before the build but it could be useful, format it and use it when you need to flash the BIOS.

Manufacturer website has newer versions of drivers so install from there instead. Just leave the usb stick in the motherboard box with all the other bits n bobs from the build.
