So after fun with spark plugs and fuel after the OCUK rolling road day at Viezu the car is sorted again so of course I want to tinker :)

I've got some house keeping stuff first I will be getting Viezu (since I had fun there) to fit an upgraded steel braided fuel line, the stock one under heavier loads has been known to collapse. Also getting a rear torsion bar. This last one is the weak point of the car, having a rear torsion beam. This helps stiffen it up over bumps.

After this I am thinking of getting the K&N intake and an 845 front mount intercooler along with another tune of course. There is a wiring kit upgrade too to help smooth out idle and startup which is not exactly expensive so will probably fit myself.

I don't know much about the Veloster so I'm not sure of the standard capabilities of the car. However bigger and better intercooler and remapped to suit sounds logical to me. Perhaps with a cold air intake and freer flowing filter, all combined with a good exhaust. Hard IC pipes maybe if they are braided rubber? Braided brake lines and a pad/disk selection that suits your normal driving?

As you say it gets very expensive when you start having to upgrade internals and this is something you will need to consider with a bigger turbo (a route I know well). Tweak it and individualise it. Get it to a place where you enjoy simply getting in and firing it up to go for a drive. Have fun!

Are you sure the stock intake isn't already a cold air intake? Many people overlook this and waste £100s when they didn't need to :p

Usually just replacing the panel filter and the hose for something less flexible is enough.

It's somewhat restrictive, I believe people tend to go from 200-210 WHP to 220-230 WHP with air intake, radiator and exhaust.
