Well the best l can get is 895/1790/2100 1.087mV 24/7 temps peak 52'c, but run them at 850/1700/2000 1025mV 24/7.

What voltage do you need for 915 core ?

Yes I saw . . . flogged off your older GTX 275's for £65 a piece and used the fund to nab yourself a Fermi . . .
SLi'ed GTX 275's to a single GTX 470? . . . off the top of my head I have no idea if that's an upgrade, sidegrade or downgrade?
It's not cool but certainly not gonna break a stock speed card . . .
Is that the stock frequencies or after you overclocked the card? . . . you mentioned it ran at 82°C when loaded at stock . . . what about load temps after your 800/1600/2000 overclock? . . .
Of course your not braggin? . . . why would you say that?
How is the overall performance of SLi'ed GTX 275's to a single GTX 470 then? . . . did you keep a set of benchdata from your old set-up? . . . would be interesting to have a comparison?
Two things that are conspicuous by absence from your report are:
- Acoustics - Stock & OverClocked
- Power Consumption - Stock & OverClocked
so moise aint an issue with me i was thinking about getting 2 water blockes and getting anoth 120.1 PA for the cpus and ruin it I just whacked it on 1.212v and then tried to see where I got to only to find myself limited on the overclock slider now.
Don't worry, I run them at 839 24/7 use, just wanted some silly benchmark results.
Must admit temps starting to get a little bit toasty even with full waterblocks on. I hit 57C in 3dmark11. I daren't run furmark though![]()

no i dont keep any results from my last set up silly i should off done really but like i was sayingit will propbably say it has much less avrage fps but due to high minimums i must say is a lot smoother experiance and the load temp with overclock 20 mins on furmark was 88 and the idle still remains the same a 39
as to the noise i cant hear it over my case fans but thats probably because i have 3x 2000rpm fans stuck on an external rad wich i turn to full when gaming along with the surround soundso moise aint an issue with me i was thinking about getting 2 water blockes and getting anoth 120.1 PA for the cpus and ruin it
Res/Pump>120 RAD>CPU>360 RAD> 470's>
would people consider this a good idea ?? as i have another i7 on a xspc 120rs (there lower spec rad) with push pull fans the a old thermalright 775 block and thats at 4ghz in my htpc and the temps are never above 75 or would the 470's increase the abient water temp and mess my oc up ? as i've only ever water cooled cpu's before and i think a 360 rad is a bit over kill for an i7 as its idling at 26-30 lol
My stock 275's idled at 39-34, overclocked sli 470's idle at 31-29, load temps for the 275's were 80-82, 470's load at 76-75, auto fan speed which doesnt ever go above 50%, once above 60% the noise does get a bit obtrusive as ive tried it manually. I have mounted a 1600 rpm yate loon D12SM-12 fan just behind the cards to increase airflow, as my hdd cage kinda impedes the dual 140mm intake fans on the front of the case.thought it was cooler than my 275's at idle but i thought thats because of no sli atm will sli 470's run cooler than my sli 275's as i was expecting more heat ?
Greebo did you get that voltage unlocker to work? Thought you could set it as high as you wanted, my slider goes up all the way to 1.4v though obviously I wouldn't apply it.![]()

crysis warhead reporting 24-30 fps with full settings and 8xAA but runs smooth as silk
60+ fps is smooth. Nice OC mind.No it maxes it to 1.212 which is set in the bios no matter what you set MSI to. I think that's enough though as it;s good enough for 915 core.![]()
