Agreed, Im certaininly not knocking the 360 and its capabilities i have seen both in action and they are both awesome bits of kit, but i just prefer the PS3.

I remember buying C & C on the ps1 and that was poor, will take your advice and put my money on something else me thinks. cheers

IMO, MGS4 is ****, unless you like sitting through hours of cut scenes so that you can play for about 10 minutes before another load of cut scenes. BORING!

You can skip them you know and ignore the plot entirely. Then it would have the same level of intellectuality as gears of war.

I played 1 and 2 really enjoyed them both, thinks this will be my next purchase.

Just without the killer gameplay, stylization, hyper-violence, in your face multiplayer and weapons.

Pure is above average racer from what i've heard, but it is a full priced game and you can get what is also an above average racer for so much less (Wipeout HD).

If you're after a racer i cannot recommend Wipeout HD enough. It's only £12 and you get so very much for your money, i've played it for over 20 hours in the month that i've owned it which is a huge amount for me considering i rarely rack up 20 hours of gaming in a month on all games, let alone one.

Other good titles include:
Super Stardust HD (entire pack can be had for around £7 now)
Uncharted
Resistance (bought my copy second hand for a tenner, well worth every penny)
Ratchet and Clank (also bought second hand for a tenner)
Devil May Cry 4
Metal Gear Solid 4 (incredibly marmite game however so make sure you're going to like it)
Warhawk (buy it cheap second hand again, the PSN price is a little high for my liking)

I've also heard Burnout is rather epic, that can be gotten for £20 brand new on a popular website which is frankly a steal.
