Hey OP dont worry about the negative vibe on here from some, theres a few people who have issues with there man hood and need to put others down to make them feel better :D

Any way PS3 games to get, every one has there own taste in games so get some demos from the PSN store. Then make a US account (easily done) and get some of the different ones on the US store.
Games i would say are ones to get are, in no order. * denotes PSN game
Uncharted
MGS4
Heavenly Sword (rent)
Resistance FOM, get it cheap though worth it for the second one coming soon.
Wipeout HD (£12 bargain!)*
Super stardust HD *
Pixel junk Monsters and Eden*
Warhawk
High velocity bowling*, now includes online multiplayer, voice chat, trophies etc
Echochrome*
Everyday shooter*
Folklore, great use of Sixaxis and a good adventure game, again rent or get cheap
Burnout paradise, get it for £25 on PSN or cheaper online/instore if Poss.

As for games in the next month or so
LBP
SOCOM
Resistance 2
Motorstorm 2
Plus all the multiplatform games
Mirrors Edge
Dead Space
COD WAW
etc,etc.

Make sure you get some of the UGC stuff for Unreal, theres some great mods for the PS3 version.

They (or they're soon) coming built-in with TV's. So the question I saw asked was "What does this mean for the PS3?"

Online yes but only really for the hardcore. For the casual crowd that play online only occasionally the ps3 provides enough features.

I thought this forum had finally grown out of this crap, clearly i was wrong. This has been a really bad day for fanboy rantings on both sides of the fence (not just 360 fanboys i mean). The guy has made his purchase, myself and many others on here are very much interested in giving him the best advice possible in order to enjoy his choice, this rubbish does nothing but undermine his investment.

Whats your PSN ID btw amaru? If you get Wipeout HD i'll give you a few races :)

Indeed, it is awful. Someone has just spent a lot of money buying a multimedia device that in its own right is amazing. As a piece of hardware it leaves the Xbox360 standing, yet you get immature people just waiting to have a bite at him. He wants to be happy about it, he's sharing his joy with everyone and the mannerless fools that wander these sections have had completely unnecessary digs.

It's a shame when the console section is brought out like this and is why this section is screaming out for a dedicated moderator who would spot these and punish people for it.
