hey guys,

after a lot of fiddling around with my OC on the CPU, i have decided to go easy and stick at stock voltage and with a 4.2GHz OC without turbo boost on.

my question now is...

what is safe for my GPU? its a XFX AMD Radeon R9 380X 4GB DD Edition.

the stock clocks are 1030mhz and 5700mhz.

what regions are safe to push? do i do it slowly or increcements of 10 or what?

the max temp on the card is currently around 68c. is that too high for any further OCing?

just regurgitating this tread..

i have (like mentioned) left my FX 8350 at stock, for my needs which is gaming for this unit, a slight OC seems almost pointless. but my GPU on the other hand is more suitable and will benefit from an OC.

what would a OC range be acceptable for this card? she is currently running at 1100mhz and 1525mhz with a temp maxing around 60-62c. the GPU fans never has risen above 40% even after a longish gaming sesh (albeit CS GO)according too msi afterburner.

what do i do? do i keep pushing up the freq. until a certain temp? or leave it as is? so far has been solid as a rock, no reboots, nothing.
