Hi guys,
A mate has Now TV broadband and has kids so needs parental controls - basically just scheduling their devices etc.
The Now kit has nothing so I've lent them a wifi router (4G TP-Link) which I've configured as a hotspot. It's linked to the WAN port and gets an IP/Internet link no problem. We're seeing lag though, might be coincidence but I'm not so sure...
My question is, should I turn off all the DCHP/DNS stuff on the TP Link and let the Now kit handle everything? I'm guessing the parental stuff will still work as its done off the connected MACs.
Thanks.
