Ow crap, i think i just hit the 'report to mod' sign on your post :/

Sorry :o

That things huge! Im guessing the water makes it a bit bigger though ;)

Theres no water in there its just glare, plus its a rubbish camera on my 6101...

I think it went in the bin afterwork tonight, I will see if its still there on monday!

Now i hate buzzing things generally. But wasps/hornets are the worst, so imagine my horror when i walk into the kitchen and see this without it being held down by some sort of clamp.. i swore the glass wouldnt hold..

Thats prolly just about the same size as the one that we caught... you could see the eye clusters and everything it was rather horrid lol...

lol gord, thats a bit smaller than the one we caught last week, and natually set fire to. Evil things.

We never did decide if it was a Hornet or a wasp. it was big enough to be a hornet, but I didn't think they were about this time of year.

I'm not taking the mick, the thing we had was almost 2 inches long, scared the hell out of me.

edit - ive looked at the photo now, very funny :p

So yours was 2 inches, and mine was over 11 inches.. man if i had a penny for every time i said that.. i wouldnt have that much money because i dont go round asking guys for that sort of info..

Our Kittens were playing with a bugger the same size as that one the other day!...

Problem is.. A Wasp can send me into Anaphalactic shock if it stings me and a Hornet could even kill me!... Now the Wifie knows this and she still made me get it out of the house!!!.. :(

Same as when we have thoes Mahoosive house spider in... She know I'm arachnophobic.. She makes me remove them too!!!... Last one I was shaking and crying (I'm a 32 year old, 19 stone Bloke!!!) it was that bad!! :(

Ditto, but that's what a hoover is for ;) Suck the bugger up if it's too big to be manhandled out the front door, leave the hoover running for 30s afterwards to make sure it's not getting out again!
