I'm not surprised. They can't justify charging for 1080p now so they've switched to gouging for UHD instead.
My old TV used to upscale automaticallly and with good results. It sadly died and my new TV doesn't upscale and Netflix immediately wanted to charge an extra £4 per month for 4K. Nope, I'll manage, thanks

Seems like they're still charging £6 for Full HD and £9 for UHD (although in fairness they usually have promotions on so you're rarely paying full price).

I gave up on NOW recently anyway, I kept having playback issues on my LG TV which support said they were aware of, but nothing was being done to fix it.

Got gifted it too, not paid full price for the service in ages, always go through the cancel process when my current offer is about to expire and get another offer if they don't just automatically add one.

Have to check this. The HD boost is rubbish, House of Dragons has been unwatchable on it, I've had to sail the seven seas to watch it properly.
