Nowtv - how is it for subtitles?

A question for anyone out there with a nowtv box. How is it for subtitles? My wife is deaf in one ear and relies on subtitles on the tv. I've read mixed reports of what sort of provision there is for subtitles on nowtv. Does it have subtitles on the movies? The box sets?

Any help appreciated...

I don't think there are any subtitles on it (when it comes to the NowTV content itself)

There's no subtitles at all i'm afraid, and they don't seem too interested in implementing them. Netflix has decent subtitles although obviously you don't get the live channels or same set of films and TV series.

Netflix has fantastic subtitles from what I've watched so far, some of the more popular shows have good closed captions as well.

Going a tad OT, Netflix (especially US) has excellent subtitle provision. From my experience all other streaming services are appalling with regards to subtitles, something I can't understand when the vast majority of the programmes shown will have had subtitles created for them for normal TV.
