I paid today for a daily subscription so I can watch the Rugby. I have paid many times before to watch the Rugby and F1. Today it is very broken and frankly has ruined the game, which is a ****er as I have buddies around to watch the game over some beers.

This service I would say plays up more times than not, whether it be buffering or low resolutions. It is very broken today as it does all that and is also telling me I can't watch it on other devices as I have reached my device limit....which is crap as I have 1 device in my device list and 3 empty spaces.

I need to vent.

Agree it's shocking, on the PC it's utter rubbish as the stream is only SD and poor quality SD at that. On the 360 it's not as bad as the stream is HD, used it to watch a couple of F1 races and it was O.K but not brilliant. I didn't ever have any buffering issues though?!?!?

**EDIT**
The rugby is on Freeview HD:confused:

To be honest,i think all services we get in the UK are utter crap..Netflix seems to be somewhat decent but are very slow sometimes with the latest TV series.

The England game was live on Sky, not on Freeview.

I've used it multiple times for sporting events, never had a problem. Although I received a free day pass once because it wasn't working but apparently I didn't notice.

Normally pretty reliable and a good service for me.

I had one for a while but I didn't find the Wifi performance that good. I managed to get the app on my smart tv which is connected directly to the router and that was much better. When the deal I was on ran out I didn't renew it. I happy enough with just the basic TV.

Been using NowTV for about 6 months or so on my smart TV. 95% of the time, no issues and i've used it a lot, however not for sport. I only really watch TV using it and a few movies with the free 4 month pass I got with the TV.

My only gripe I have with the service and it's something I noticed consistently with everything I watch. The first and last 30 seconds or so of every show drops in bitrate and goes blocky and grainy. I can understand the first 30 seconds as it catches up, buffers and ascertains the connection speed but there is no reason for the last 30 seconds to do it.

However @ £6.99 a month I can't complain, I was previously paying Sky £27/month to watch the exact same shows and also paying a TV licence.

Now I have Amazon, NowTV and Netflix and pay no TV licence. £469 versus £240 per year, it's a no brainer.
