This month's hardware sales chart is as follows:
Wii - 803,000
Nintendo DS - 491,000
Xbox 360 - 371,000
PSP - 193,000
PlayStation 3 - 190,000
PlayStation 2 - 136,000

Who's buying all the Wii's (still!)?

I guess Nintendo has made Wii the best family entertainment for Thanksgiving. Nothing like a bit of bowling after stuffing your innards with big turkey dinners. The Yankees will see it as working off their meal. LOL.

The 360s sales are surprisingly high, i can only assume that the recent price cuts (especially by a rather large supermarket) clearly have bolstered sales effectively. Also gotta laugh that in theory the PS2 is still in the running :p

I had to really put effort in to persuading a mate to get a 360 instead of a wii, for some reason he had it in his head that he needed a wii as 'it's the best console'. He's into shooters etc, so it would have probably been one of the worst purchase decisions he had ever made if i hadn't talked him out of it.

Read into it what you will of course!.. recent price cuts seem to be having some effect on the 360, how long that'll last I don't know.. momentum for all consoles seems to have levelled off..
