Hey,

With NTL 10MB broadband, I was just wondering what is the best MTU size to set on my router, for fastest downloads and good ping (I have a PC and a 360 connected to the router).

At the moment it is set to 1500 :)

Does changing the MTU size really make a difference? I have done it before and noticed no change.

It'll most likely make no noticeable difference unless you set it far too high, in which case packets will need to be fragmented and that'll slow things down, might increase ping in games etc.

Some ISP's ask it to be set to a specific size for better performance/connections. I wasnt sure if NTL had such a policy.
